Wis.); Represent former paper manufacturing company in a multi-state contribution action concerning PCB-contaminated sediments in the Fox River, Wisconsin; assisted in discovery matters and preparation of summary judgment against plaintiff, which achieved dismissal of contribution claims at a site with estimated cleanup costs of over $1 billion.

Solutia Corp. v. McWane Inc., et al. (N.D. Ala.); Represent an investment casting company in connection with a multi-million dollar action concerning PCB contamination in Anniston, Alabama; assisted in discovery matters and preparation of briefs on motions for summary judgment.

Evansville Greenway and Remediation Trust v. SIGECO (S.D. Ind.); Represented Evansville Greenway and Remediation Trust resulting in $3.4 million superfund cost recovery settlement for the successful remediation of a scrapyard site that was added as the trailhead for the Pigeon Creek Greenway Passage, a planned 42-mile biking and jogging trail encircling Evansville, Indiana.

Western Refining Yorktown, Inc. v. BP (E.D. Va.); Represented Western Refining Yorktown in connection with a contract dispute concerning indemnification of Western Refining Yorktown by the prior owner of the refinery – BP – for environmental remediation work including RCRA interim measures.

North Carolina v. Tennessee Valley Authority, (W.D.N.C.); Represented the State of North Carolina with the North Carolina Department of Justice in a public nuisance action against coal-fired power plants for additional air pollution controls to protect public health and the environment.
