Narrative:
Kate Trinward practices in the Environmental Litigation and Regulatory Actions and the Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith practice areas.

She has represented private clients on a variety of environmental litigation and transactional issues. Her work has involved counseling clients on various environmental issues that arise in real estate transactions, including hazardous waste contamination, underground storage tanks, and voluntary cleanup programs. Ms. Trinward’s environmental litigation experiences include drafting pre-trial motions and pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing expert witnesses for deposition and trial testimony. She joined Hunsucker Goodstein & Nelson PC in 2010.

Ms. Trinward is a contributing author for the Third Edition of the ABA publication: Brownfields: A Comprehensive Guide to Redeveloping Contaminated Property and is the co-author of several articles addressing Voluntary Cleanup Programs, “Green” building practices, and Brownfield transactions. Ms. Trinward is also a Council member for the Environmental Section of the Maryland State Bar Association and is an active member of the Vermont Law School Alumni Association.
